The status miles you collect on flights qualify you for a higher topbonus status. As soon as you have earned 20,000 status miles or have flown with NIKI or airberlin on 24 flights within a period of 12 months, you will receive the topbonus Silver Status - and if you have earned 40,000 status miles, you will obtain the topbonus Gold Status.
