General information

Spring is one of the most beautiful seasons for a trip to the city of Vienna. Fine weather with pleasant temperatures lets you enjoy all the beauty and splendour this city has to offer. In the inner city, which features the gothic St. Stephan's Cathedral at its centre, Vienna's café culture spills over into the streets. Whether on Kärnterstraße or along the Donau channel, numerous cafés offer open air seating. Even over the long Easter weekend, there are many activities for families such as mystery rallies and "beastly" arts and crafts at the Schönbrunn Zoo or a visit to the Easter Fair at the Am Hof and Freyung markets. Even most of the museums have regular opening hours during the Easter holidays.
