ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

The airport is 18 km southeast of the city centre. To get to the airport from the outskirts of Vienna, either take the A4 airport motorway and then the Airport exit that goes straight to the departures building, or take the B9 highway. The journey takes approx. 25 minutes.

BY RAIL/BY BUS

Rail:

The City Airport Train (CAT) operates between the airport and Wien-Mitte, the railway station in the centre of Vienna. The train runs at half-hourly intervals every day between 05:38 h and 23:35 h, and the journey takes 16 minutes. The fare is 9 €. Passengers taking the CAT from the City Air Terminal at Wien-Mitte to the airport have the option of checking in at the Wien-Mitte train terminal unless they have bulky items of luggage. The check-in facility is available for all airberlin and NIKI flights from 05:00–21:00 h until at least 75 minutes prior to departure; late-night check-in is available from 18:00–21:00 h.

The S-Bahn (urban railway) operates from 05:00-22:40 h, with trains to the city centre leaving every 30 minutes. The journey takes 24 minutes and the fare is 3.60 €, incl. travel on the Vienna route network.

Bus:

The airport express buses operated by Vienna Airport Lines run every day from approx. 05:00–00:00 h. There is a service to the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey takes 20–35 minutes and the fare is 6 €.

BY TAXI

The taxi ranks are located in front of the Arrivals hall. The fare to Vienna costs approx. 35 € and the journey time is approx. 25 minutes.

LEFT LUGGAGE

The left luggage office is located in the Arrivals hall. It is open daily from 5:30-23:20 h and the charges are 2.70 € per item of baggage per day.

CONFERENCE ROOMS

Office Park III with offices, Conference Center and meeting rooms of 40 to 2,121 m² is located opposite Arrival hall.

BANK

Banks are located in the arrivals and departures halls (open Mon–Wed and Fri–Sun 08:00–15:00 h, Thu 08:00–17:30 h) and there are numerous cash machines (ATMs) in the terminals. There are also bureaux de change at the airport.

SHOPPING

The Vienna Airport Shopping Center has over 70 shops, ranging from duty frees to electronics, fashion and accessories, as well as trendy giftware, Austrian/Viennese souvenirs and basic necessities.

Restaurants, cafés and bars are also provided.

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

Parking spaces for the disabled are available in car parks 3, 4 and C. There is also a 50 % discount for the disabled using these car parks.The airport has wheelchair-accessible toilets, lifts and telephone booths.

The Airport Transfer Service offers transport facilities in a specially equipped minibus; tel.: +43 (0)1-700 735 910. Wheelchais can be hired at the airport.
